Hi guys, just wanted to give a small update.
In regards to the wallet, I know people are upset with the delivery time of it. Which I understand from a community point of view. However, as part of the Coinweb team, I think we've never been more excited and there are a few things I can help people get a better picture of.
I think I've mentioned before, the Coinweb wallet is not just a wallet per se. We are actually building something someone else hasn't. With this comes challenges, not only with the wallet but with so many other things around it. We need lots of features from our core protocol to work which is pushing us closer to mainnet. We need lots of features from DeconX to work, which is pushing a release of it closer. We need lots of features from LinkMint, which is pushing a release of it closer. Without going into the specifics of this in this text, this has been a colossal project for us with so many parts needing to be finalised.
I would also like to stress that with a very complex wallet having been built, a very complex tokenisation platform having been built, and a simple marketplace having been built and is connected to them, this is opening up for NEW opportunities in terms of partnerships. All of a sudden, we have a suite of working products which essentially goes beyond our own community. We have already identified markets to target with the suite we'll have now and it is looking promising.
Summary for lazy people: Our wallet is more complex than the average wallet, and finalising the wallet pushes us quite far down the road to adoption as so much things around the wallet have had to be built.
